I have about eight proofs I pulled when I was actively searching which are almost pure black. They look as if they were in a fire at some point. I may try the 24 hr acetone - dip - rinse - 24 hr acetone procedure to see if it can help them.

I did a quick edge search of all 4 boxes. I pulled a total of 1 36-D Walker, 1 64-D, and 17 40%. The first 2 boxes I quick searched only yielded 2 40%. I thought the last 2 were going to be similar. The 64 and 5 40% came from Box #3. The Walker and the remaining (10) 40% came from the last box. I found 3 of the 40% in one roll. After finishing a detailed look at Box#1, I found a really nice 74-D DDO. It looks better in hand. The doubling really stands out. I'll post photos of the Walker later. I was excited to find the DDO. On to Box #2.

Search enough, and you will, Colles. I've found 63 1964's this month. Volume, volume, volume...

Yeah my spread sheet isn't as fancy as fades, Iv just been logging totals by supplier for the week and boxes searched since november 1. I also know the one supplier fell off before that. Looks like what fade isn't showing you ( and I dont blame him) is he probally has bank totals at the other end of that sheet and what bank it is, that produced what. again I wouldnt share that info either, every hunter for themselves on specefic details like that. I figure I am a medium size hunter, if I can get in a different ripple on that other supplier it may produce better, I am going to widdle it down to 4 a week over the next few weeks, and go from there for a few monthes, see if I cant infiltrate the third supply in town. On to the proofs, Iv found them all from 71 to 2011, no 2012 found yet, my only empty dansco spot. Here is a picture of my proof finds. The red box is packed full. thats 71-2006 complete missing 5 years. plenty of duplicates, the others are in my dansco and I traded 10-15 to other collectors. Here is another box of errors and greasers/miscellanous coins I figure those no fg's, and magicians coins if sold should be close to a roll of 90%? Gotta be half a roll atleast. Since I'm close to my one year mark of searching here is a picture of my 40% hoard. That bottem bin is double stacked 250$ face (500 coins), top bin single stacked 123$ face (246 coins). My signature totals must be off thats 746 in the bins, but Iv put the 65-69 in my dansco, but close enough. I must have missed adding some to my signature. i was hoping to be at 1000 40% by the end of one year, unless I get a killer lick next week thats not gonna happen. I wasnt always doing 14-18 boxes a week either. My next years goal is to be at 2000 by the end of the year. No pics of my 90% stash, I have all my finds mixed in with stuff Iv bought. Always on the lookout for silver under spot. I may finnally be able to look/purchase a hoard iv been trying to buy for sometime now this week. Talked to the guy last night, said he is selling soon, have it planned for one day this week to see what he has.

FADETOBLACK, How many boxes have you searched to find them? Murphy - This may be a newbie statement but I can't see the DDO nor the -D? Can you circle where you see it? Thanks!

Colles, I use distilled white vinegar for any organic junk on the coin. if it's really dirty or gunky I let it soak overnight in the vinegar. then I use the acetone.

mjgiorgianni, look at the letters in "TRUST". Specifically, the leg of the "R". My photo is not very good. I found a better one that Scooby Due posted on 11-21-2010. Here is a link. https://goccf.com/t/75298My coin is not in as good of shape as that one. Mine doesn't have the pronounced doubling. I hope this helps.
