because you are lucky.
8 boxes pulled one 64, 4 proofs, and a 95 that has some really nice toning, other than that what a goose egg
now I have to coinstar this full 5 gal bucket tomorrow before I go gold mining, friend found a 4oz nugget this week, that's a nice little payday.

Nice Bernie! I've had a teller hand over a load of proofs but yet to find any in rolls. Picked up four CWR's at the grocery bank today. Really old dry brittle paper rolls....the teller said an old man brought them in this morning. The same thing happened last week and I got a great payoff then! It was all I could do to get to the truck and not open them in the store. The moon Was full, There was a hush in the air, in the distance, a lone wolf howled. My heart was racing, I broke out in a cold sweat. I could wait no more! I opened the rolls AND..............anybody want some '71-D's?

I do keep the good covered ones, just for fun. Every 15 boxes or so I prune my entire collection, keep the very best coins. Usually, I chuck colored after a pruning or two. What I liked when I found it, I later realize it's worthless and I don't need to keep it and it goes back. I have a half dollar square storage tube that I wrote "colored" on, and I keep all the interesting colors, covers, and toners.
Fever, funny story. Keep searching the boxes long enough, you'll get proofs. I have searched over 166,000 halves in boxes, loose and cwr, and still haven't found a single 1970, comemmorative, or Barber half. Very few 64d's. Only a few silver proofs. Lots of errors. One or two outstanding errors.

I didn't realize how addicting this is! My bank teller called last week and said they could not get them this week - I'm about going nuts wanting some halves to look through! However, I tried to help my problems by finally purchasing something I have wanted for a little while now. And as long as I was at it, I bought another one I wanted - both Kennedys. I will post them when they get here!

I know, I had one bank that kept putting me off, not till next week, next week, they finely got here and it was the batch that I found the walkers and some silver in 1 or 12 boxes the rest were blanks. I asked them to order me another 12 for tomorrow so guess we will see, also 10 boxes of pennies, hope I am not pushing my luck because they do get me some good coin.

That's a lot of boxes to order man. I've never ordered more than 4 boxes. But maybe one day I'll get a windfall, and order a 1 time 5 grand or something. I wish I had like $20,000 to order with like FTB. It must be awesome to be able to afford to dig in to the pallets at the coin depots.
