Stopped for lunch at a fast food joint today.......got to the window and my change consisting of .77 had 3 silver qtrs in it! I immediately asked for another pepsi which was 2.11, got 3 more, also silver. The mgr was an older guy who said, "these sound funny." I said, yes, they are silver.

Been prob 10 yrs since I found a silver qtr in circulation. 1 '63-d, 4 '64(1 d, 3 p) and 1 '41-s! Made my day.

Somewhere, a parent is about to become furious with their kid. Or, there's a parent with seriously screwed-up priorities.

The best I've ever done is a single quarter (Post Office), or a 40% half (vendor at a fair, who paid out halves to make himself memorable).

Wow. Amazing find. You totally one-upped me with my Coinstar finds yesterday. I agree, somebody most likely stole their parent's collection and exchanged the quarters for face value. But consider yourself extremely lucky, finding even ONE silver quarter for face is extremely lucky, you basically paid for your meal!
