I was 10 weeks shy of being 2 years old. I'm guessing the potty training was not quite complete, so maybe I was soiling my diaper. Mom reminds me that I did that alot! I was probably searching (or swallowing) some wheat cents too!

Being of the ripe old age of 13 years, if it was a school day, I would have been in Chapel at the Grammar School that I was incarcerated in at Ballaarat in Victoria, Oz. How I managed to stay at that school for another four years still amazes me. regards.

G'day, I was not quite a twinkle in my Dad's eye ...
and Muckeye: nice to see someone spell Ballaarat correctly. My Dad was born there, and often took me there when I was a boy.

G'day Peter, Thanks for the comment. I'm a bit of a history buff myself. My great grandfather was at Bakery Hill on the 3rd December and must have liked the place 'cos I was born there. Thanks again, nice to have a compatriot. regards,

G'day Muckeye, my great-g-grandfather (Mum's side) was at the same "blue"; and he lived to attend the 50th Anniversary Reunion. He was lauded as "The Stockade Poet", for his efforts. Died & buried at Egerton, 1914. He was originally a Seppo, so when I start seriously collecting their coins, I'll be aiming for the years of his birth & migration. Dad's family were Creswick-Cornish-Methodist. Probably at chapel, or minding their own business on 3rd Dec. Peter in Darwin

I was in Huntsville Alabama, working with Western Electric, installing a new automatic telephone system,as the system there was a manual switchboard, and at that time ( redstone ) was getting started. Huntsville had less than 6,000 population at the time.

My parents were both 6. I recollect stories about them riding dinosaurs to school. Although, if you were in Cambridge in 1954 you could have eaten at The Tasty instead of some generic sub shop.
