Unfortunately, it has the look of a roller damaged coin. Still a nice for face though!

Looked normal to me but this is my first buffalo... Date is partial I think it's 1928, I'll take pics on Sunday and upload... Btw out of the 5 rolls there were only 2 other pre '60 coins.... Times are tough...

The face looks a lot different in that picture, but the marks on it are the same. Definitely a 1928, but a details coin.

That is a nice find. You don't see many of those still in circulation today. Probably came from someone's change drawer by mistake.

Within the last 8 years my grandfather found an AU or MS 1936 in circulation. Back in the '80s he also found an 1886 Seated dime.

Why do these coins seem so worn at all times? From what I've seen it seems like silver coins have higher durability than these Buffalo nickels.
