Looked normal to me but this is my first buffalo... Date is partial I think it's 1928, I'll take pics on Sunday and upload... Btw out of the 5 rolls there were only 2 other pre '60 coins.... Times are tough...

The face looks a lot different in that picture, but the marks on it are the same. Definitely a 1928, but a details coin.

That is a nice find. You don't see many of those still in circulation today. Probably came from someone's change drawer by mistake.

Within the last 8 years my grandfather found an AU or MS 1936 in circulation. Back in the '80s he also found an 1886 Seated dime. |

Why do these coins seem so worn at all times? From what I've seen it seems like silver coins have higher durability than these Buffalo nickels. |
