"Father's business stolen from his children"

"Steve's Coin Shop in PS ransacked while owner was on his deathbed. My father was laying in the hospital dying and someone comes into his shop and loots it for everything that he's got," said Ursula Ahajanian, the daughter of store owner Steve Ahajanian"

Wonder why the police are doing nothing? Odd. I sure feel for this family.

Wow, that's awful. If the police aren't investigating there must be more to this story.

This is terrible.

I agree. I am an optimist. Maybe the police are working on a larger case, involving a possible fence. Showing any attention to this crime could spook everyone into laying low or running out of reach. I await further evidence before accusing the police of just sitting around.

There is a possibility the store was ransacked by other family members. People will do uncharacteristic things when it comes to the valuable possessions of a relative that is dying or had just passed away. Relatives can't always be trusted. That is why wills are made out and executors for estates are named.

Sad, but true, and very important to remember.
