That's a pretty late die state, unusual for 1914P.

AU-50 details, the corrosion on the reverse. The coin also appears to be covered with a light layer of verdigris (white haze).

I placed an order on your ebay site earlier Thad, this is the first coin it will be used on. I can update here after treatment, or I will start another thread if any of your are interested.

I'd could see AU-53. Verdi-Care might help.

I think that "white haze" just refers to a subtle film that copper, in particular, can acquire over a long period of storage in an envelope. Easy to remove.

Maybe Thad will chime in, but I am thinking acetone, maybe xylene, then a soak in VerdiCare.

AU-50 - AU-53 reverse might be treated with verdicare.
