Well I didn't even get mail today, so either the mailman is sick or on vacation or something, but I guess they're making me wait until the estimated delivery day.

The obverse of my second Eisenhower RP dollar has a hair going from above the ear along the cheek. Based on what I'm seeing here, it appears that the mint has no special air filtration and the employees are not required to wear hair nets and/or face masks. Oh how I would love to be director of the mint and have it changed to a private-public corporation (privately operated, but owned by the government). These QC problems could be easily solved with some small investments and some attitude adjustments. While I'm dreaming, I'd end the practice of hiring customer service representatives who know nothing about coins.

Raw set of 2 sold for $405. Looks like we're in the dip mode. But with the highnumber of sets being flipped relative to truman I can see why. Once the supply starts drying up I wonder where they'll start to settle 252055346043

I'm guessing the coins and packaging are shipped seperately to the contractor (fulfillment center) and the final packaging takes place on a crude assembly line with Cheetos and soda pop within reach of every person working there.
(The coins look like that anyway!)

Quote: Well I didn't even get mail today, so either the mailman is sick or on vacation or something, but I guess they're making me wait until the estimated delivery day. I got mail but no coins and no online updates. Since Noon on Friday mine have been, "In Transit to Local P.O.". Tomorrow will be 6 calendar days since shipment and the 4th day listed as in town.

I had a order last year that went to Atlanta fed ex and was dropped off in TN at the post office. Post office sent back to Atlanta. Fed ex sent it back to town 3 times and all 3 times it went back to Atlanta. I had to call and they put a stop on it so that the Post office would look at the tag and deliver. It took it 3 weeks after it was shipped.

If all goes well I should be able to grab a blurry one with my Droid. My ultimate plan, after Reagan next year, is to take a group photo. My complete set of sets.

Mine showed up about 10 minutes ago. Still in box, they'll have to wait for me to break 'em free. Orig estimate was Wed, but they ended up showing up almost a week to the hour after I bought 'em.

Reno, yours is one of the better ones I've seen, granted, it's very hard to tell when not in hand.
