Child - back in the day I had two paper routes; morning and evening. It worked out pretty well for me back then; access to coins. Too bad kids don't deliver papers any more. It was good on many levels, coins aside. Indian Head cents - 2 sets at various stages of completeness Lincoln Cents - 3 sets at various stages of completeness Buffalo nickels - 3 sets at various stages of completeness Jefferson nickels - 3 sets at various stages of completeness Mercury dimes - single incomplete set Roosevelt dimes - 2 sets at various stages of completeness Washington quarters - 2 date sets at various stages of completeness, 2 complete State Quarter sets, 1 ATB set (just started) A few things: in most cases where I have 3 sets, I have the best-better-good scenario playing out. For Buffalos, the third set is for Pickled Nickels (dateless coins). Most sets are from CRH or circulation finds. The top set for each include purchases from a local LCS bid board (some coins just aren't likely to be found during CRH). So....you may want to have a second album where you can move a specimen from your top album to the second album upgrading as you go. Dansco albums are good for replacement as the vinyl sleeves retain the specimens even when the collar gets a bit loose. Whitman folders and the like can support upgrading to, but to a lesser extent. Have fun building your sets!

Recently completed an uncirculated set of Jeffs.
I'm working on:
uncirculated set of Ikes (0ne to go) circulated set of Wheaties (one to go) circulated set of Buffs (three to go)
I don't like Dansco's idea of what constitutes a complete set so I customize my albums to meet my own standard, not the other way around.

Ikes BU... done Kennedy halves BU... done ATB Quarters P&D... missing Blue Ridge-P. Roosevelt dimes 1946-1964... 17/48. 20th/21st Century type (custom binder)... mostly complete, missing some post-2000 stuff. State/Territory Quarters (one of each)... complete SBA $... BU complete, Proofs 1/4. Thinking of starting 1965-98 Washington quarters.

If I usually have some $$ left over after purchasing some coins, I will buy a dansco album. I have a few of them piling up in my closet now waiting for their chance to shine. As of the moment I have my 1909-date MS Lincoln album ...Just need about 30 more coins between the first two pages. Not going to finish anytime soon. As a matter of fact I am actually on a break from it right now. I am stacking my bullion a bit as the prices have dropped down.

ok, this will take a bit Finished sets by Date and mint 2 LMC 1 unc 1 from circulation Unc Jeff nick up to 2006 Unc Roosies to 2006 Ikes State Quarters with clad and silver proofs UNC & proof Kennedy halves to 2006 Working on Unc Washingtons 1932-1998 need 7 (bet you can guess which 7) Susie B,s need 81 proof T2 (can't bring myself to pay $200+ for such an ugly coin) Unc LWC complete back to 1932-S Merc dimes Buffs Indian cents Seated dimesMorgans (have all the easy ones and many CC in unc) V Nick. Shield Nick. 3 cent Nik classic head LC Merc Dimes Walkers US Type Brit Type from Willie 3 to Lizzie 2 WW II set ( have ID'd 172 countries, states, colonies, or principalities directly involved in one way or another)this could take a long time. That is off the top of my head and not counting things like 18th Century 5 and 10 Centimes from France, Hungarian dinar, Tudur era silver, transportation tokens. Seventeenth Century French colonial copper..... I think you get the idea. Been at this for almost 50 years, my tastes change, and it is not about completeness, or how long it takes.
