Third of four presidential special sets to be available in 2015, includes a Presidential $1 Reverse Proof Coin minted in Philadelphia
Set also includes a silver presidential medal, presidential stamp and informative booklet about President John F. Kennedy
Look for an additional Coin and Chronicles Set this year for President Lyndon B. Johnson

The 2015 Coin and Chronicles Set - John F. Kennedy features a Presidential $1 Reverse Proof Coin (found only in this set!) and a Kennedy Presidential Silver medal. Also included is a U.S. postage stamp issued in 1964 to pay tribute to President Kennedy. The set is perfect for the coin collector, history buff or as a special gift!

The set includes:

One reverse proof finish 2015 John F. Kennedy Presidential $1 Coin
One John F. Kennedy Presidential Medal struck in .999 fine silver
One John F. Kennedy U.S. postage stamp issued in 1964
One booklet including images from Kennedy's life, military career and presidency.

Presidential $1 Coin Design:

The obverse (heads) design of this Presidential $1 coin features a forward facing portrait of John F. Kennedy. Inscriptions are "JOHN F. KENNEDY," "IN GOD WE TRUST," "35th PRESIDENT" and "1961 - 1963."

The reverse (tails) design of the Presidential $1 Coin depicts a striking rendition of the Statue of Liberty. This coin's designs feature large, dramatic artwork, as well as edge-incused inscriptions of the year of minting or issuance, "E PLURIBUS UNUM" and the mint mark. "IN GOD WE TRUST" appears on the face of the coin.

Presidential Silver Medal Design:

The obverse of the medal features a portrait of John F. Kennedy with the inscription "JOHN F. KENNEDY" centered along the border of the medal. The reverse of the medal features the inscription "INAUGURATED PRESIDENT" centered at the top of the medal and "JANUARY 20, 1961" centered along the bottom of the medal. Also, included is the Presidential Seal with the burning torches of liberty on each side with the following excerpt from the President's Inaugural address: "WE SHALL PAY ANY PRICE, BEAR ANY BURDEN, MEET ANY HARDSHIP, SUPPORT ANY FRIEND, OPPOSE ANY FOE TO ASSURE THE SURVIVAL OF LIBERTY. JOHN F. KENNEDY."

I really wish they could have thrown a half dollar in there with a bronze medal.

Regardless, it will match the previous two and look nice right alongside them.

Nooooo!

I think this one will break the 30 minute barrier and sell out in 34 minutes. One minute for each previous administration.

Does it have the potential to go up in price? I don't collect Kennedy halves but I'm looking for ways to fund a purchase of a 16-D Mercury dime.

Yeah, exactly. The limit did not help the last time, if anything it made things worse.
