Found this coin roll hunting yesterday. Looking for opinions on grade. Edit: Sorry for the mixup. This coin was actually purchased on ebay a while ago. Edited by rayof315 09/07/2015 5:09 pm

A remarkable find indeed, almost unheard of these days.
I'd say it just makes VG-08. Seems to have excellent color. Congrats!

My apologies everyone. This is NOT a CRH find. I bought this coin awhile ago. I was in the process of putting up another coin and got my descriptions mixed up. Still looking for grade, however...

VG8 for me. It would have been an awesome roll find.

Technical grade looks F12 or darn close. Maybe a recent scuff on the right wheat ear and a small ring ding at 3:00 obverse but nothing so obtrusive as to call it a details coin.

C'mon, look at that jaw and those wheat sheafs with 1/3rd net detail between them at best. Not even close to Fine.

Good to very good. Is that a rim bump at 3:00 o'clock on the obverse?

Right. Not sure that would detail it, pretty small.
Other opinions?

You need to take the date into account here. 1924-D Lincolns don't usually come well struck and that is taken into account when grading all the way down to VG or even lower. I could see a conservative grader going VG10. Here's a PCGS F15 from CoinFacts for comparison:

I think this could make VG-10.
