Looks like they moved it to a correct forum probably had it posted in the wrong place. It's fine you'll learn the song of things and if you do anything wrong they will tell ya lol . But as fast as your coin goes it looks like PMD aka post mint damage. So not an error. Probably done by a wrapping machine or something of that sorts. You can see how the metal had been displaced. So it's worth 10 cents. Keep looking

There was a thread about the same damage pattern commonly seen on nickels from the 70s. Best theory offered was a type of coin rolling machine that was rejected due to the damage it inflicts on the coins.

Anytime a coin is forced to turn between two rough surfaces it will acquire these circular patterns or arc. There are countless ways they occur but the most common is from malfunctioning coin rolling machines.
Time don't fly, it bounds and leaps.

It might be deliberate garage damage to the coin. (coin wrapper issue/vending machine/coin counter damage usually affects the last third of the coins surface. The is usually parallel to the rim)

I've seen this same PMD on 50's to 70's era nickels. I'm thinking some machine used at the time for rolling or sorting.
