Invoking a warm, fuzzy feeling with a oin design is a dishonorable downplaying of the tragic loss of lives. Personally I appreciate the Pearl Harbor mindset for a heinous attack on innocent US citizens. Google "Pearl Harbor Memorial coins" and look at images. These Pearl Harbor Memorials commemorate the victims by making sure people know the event was from a senseless, criminal act of war on US innocents. When we gloss these horrors over, it makes it much easier to forget the reality and to try our best to remain vigil against such acts. How many millions have been made from the sale of these coins, which before that tragic day, were bullion.
