I believe the coins that the seller is offering belong to the group of 22 karat gold Sacagawea coins that NASA sent into orbit. Thus, this is quite a bargain.

I remember seeing a video clip of a guy showing precious metals (from APMEX) being interviewed. At one time the Presidential dollars were mentioned, being called something like the "new little gold one dollar coins." Long story short, somehow the interviewer missed what was going on. One of her parting comments was that since she now knew gold was now worth so much she would have to go to the bank and get some of the "gold dollars."

These are NOT from the group of 12 gold Sacs made in 2000. They are illegal under the law as enacted and currently stored at the Fort Knox depository. Should they ever become legal and offered to the public, they would be the scarcest Sackie ever and probably command upwards of $100,000 each.
