Makes me wonder how many Bicentennial DDO quarters (Denver) I may have missed--those in the XF to AU range. I've looked through many over the years without real knowledge of the DDO...

I wouldn't worry...I'm pretty sure that was the only one to pass through your hands. And you still have it! A coin in that grade is impossible to pass up at that age. You just got lucky and knowledgeable at the same time. In other words...you got it perfectly!

I didn't even know this DDO existed. Now I have to go through the hundreds of 76 Quarters I have boxed away.

Do take a closer look at what you have. My local coin shop owner has found 8-9 over the years in the XF-low AU range.

When I was a kid my dad had about 10 of them and I thought they were so cool. So growing up I started pulling them from circulation. And have sooo many now. This will occupy me at work tomorrow.

To get a better price you might try Heritage coins. You could do a search there and see what they have sold for in the past.
