I am in charge of all the cash shipments at my bank. We got 30k in fresh 100's a couple days ago and I pulled one bill out that was a repeater.
District H8 Serial # 31133113
Like I said, this is fresh from a FED pack. No counting marks or bends.
Right now it's sitting in my drawer at work, 100 is too much for me to tie down (plus I am not a repeater collector) but would it be valuable enough to buy at face and resell?
Thanks, Mike

It is a repeater AND a radar note. You would most likely get something over face for it, but how much, I'm not sure. It all depends on how bad someone wants it or if it fits into their serial number collection.

I'd keep it and throw it on eBay- you could easily make a few bucks. If you don't have the $100 lying around, though, it wouldn't be a huge deal to let it go- although personally, I would hate to let that thing slip through my fingers.

Nice radar binary repeater note! Yea I agree 100 is alot haha. Check ebay to see what you would get for it (the sold section). You would prob make like 20 to 40 over face value. What year is it? Quote: I would hate to let that thing slip through my fingers.

I will make a guess that it's a 2009A.

Sounds reasonable, considering that the notes are 'new'.

Does the bank just let you buy notes from shipments?

Nice! Quote: I would hate to let that thing slip through my fingers. Me too. But if you can float 100 bucks for a week or two, you're likely to make a few shekels on it plus it's like to go into someone's collection and not into circulation. At least, until that person shuffles off this mortal coil and someone blissfully ignorant of what they have gleefully spends his or her collection.

Man! I hate when there is a old $100 bill at the bank and I couldn't afford it. Anyway, you could make $40+ easy. Even if you can't afford it in the long run, buy it immediately and post it immediately on ebay.

Alright guys, I took $100 out of my savings and bought it. Gonna throw it up on ebay for a quick turnaround. Does anyone know on the of chance what I would need to sell it for to recoup all of the selling/paypal fees? Thanks, Mike. PS I'll throw a picture up in a minute.

If you're near a coin shop, you could sell it faster. You'll get less but it's less effort and you'll get you 100 back sooner.
