I have a couple of them, but not mine or any of my family's notes.

I got a rather grubby one I my change yesterday, with a fairly recent date. Series 09, F07221980C. Anyone born July 22nd, 1980? I have a friend who was born on that date in 2000.

Nice low SN! Not a birthday note in the usual sense, but I suppose it works. Still a keeper by any means. Were you born in 1949?

Yes I was. The local bank got a bundle of low serial numbers and sold them at face value to Krause Publications. Head of accounting back then was Bob Strand who in turn sold the notes at face value to KP employees with those birth years. Those were the good old days before the corporate mentality took over.

Very nice. Too bad you aren't from Georgia, with the GA block letters.

Got some notes issued the same year, but even better, my birthday falls on a national holiday, so my thanks to a grateful nation, once a year.
