I always keep all 1969 s cents to give a look under my loupe and this is the only one I have that looks just the slightest bit unusual to me. Are you saying it is a double die? Why are you saying it is unusual? Better pictures of the In god we trust will be needed. Biedercoins Pillar of the Community United States 1602 Posts	Posted 10/28/2015 07:41 am I think he's just asking about the PMD (post mint damage). The linear marks are probably from a vending or other machine - back then they had penny machines. The nebulous marks look more like corrosion. Overall, this looks like a coin that's spent a fair amount of time in a street or gutter. Report this Post to the Staff
