And that all 3 of those things are NOT on a real one.

I don't care who has it. At all. My concern is the person I sold the coin to is claiming he still has it and is NOT the one selling it on ebay. I have no idea why he would lie. I have now out right asked the buyer to send me photos that he still has the coin. He has not responded yet. I cannot attest to anything else with this seller. If others on here have found possible other nefarious or suspicious actions by this seller I cannot comment on this.

Quote: I have no idea why he would lie. If you don't have a long established relationship with the buyer there's plenty of reasons why he may not be comfortable giving you full disclosure. The most obvious would be not wanting someone to know where it is, or fear you may try and demand money if he made a profit selling it. He may also just be simply respecting the confidentiality of who he sold it too. Even with long standing relationships some of these can still be a concern. It's not unheard of for some dealers to get mad if something they sold was later sold for a profit or be upset they weren't offered the first chance to buy it back. If those aren't the exact pictures you we're sending out I wouldn't worry about it personally.

If I bought a coin from online.
And then the seller started contacting me, with a odd story, I might not feel comfortable giving out any information.
As others have said .....the deal is done ...not much can be Done about it now.
From what I have read here, there is no proof anything wrong has happened.

We just sort of dropped the topic of the inconsistencies in the position of the R in TRUST. Personally, I'm with EFLargeCents in that it seems a bit suspicious since there shouldn't be any die variation.

With those pictures it is suspicious but each side of this thread is suspicious in some way.

I'm no expert on these coins nor any other. I saved off every seller's image of the reverse and zoomed in. I don't see enough picture quality to judge a minute discrepancy in the position of the R relative to the ha.com image. I did however count and examine the position of every denticle around United States of America and One Dol. and to my eyes everything is spot on. I wonder if it's time to give up on trying to uncover something nefarious about this seller. If this coin is counterfeit, it fooled PCGS. Can't really blame the seller for that.

I am thinking the reason this particular coin "Does the rounds" so often is that it may have fooled the TPG but not the collectors and they quickly realise they have been sold a "dummy" and offload it as soon as they can. Instead of doing this why not simply send it back to the TPG under their guarantee to recoup their money

OP: Is the pictures in the listing the pictures you took? many people have asked this and there hasn't been an answer yet... I feel like that would be valuable to know

Buddy, I agree. I learn so much here, but it also reminds me that I barely know anything compared with some members.

Am assuming the ebay seller's photos are different than OPs, because if they weren't, the OP would have immediately chimed in with, yes yes yes, the first time the question was asked, if they were. Plus the ebay seller added photos to the original listing and they appear to be similar to the original pics.

Page 2, OP says they can't find their pictures. Quote: I cannot attest to anything else with this seller yet in your opening post you call them a "piece of garbage" and "scum". Any chance you want to retract that? We've been circling the drain here for 4 pages now. I'm out.

Quote: We've been circling the drain Great expression, I love it. Yes it has been a bit of a show for 4 pages, but there has been a lot of good stuff sprinkled in here too. I've learned quite a bit about counterfeits that are fooling the TPGs. But like you, I think this race has been run
