Great finds Johnny.

bishftl, It's always great to find something unexpected on the end of a roll. I have never seen a magician coin in nickels, I have seen them in the halves. How did you spot it? Was it the weight? The half dollar magician coin I found was collapsed on the reverse. So it was easy to see something was odd with the coin. Then the weight gave it away.

I went through $100 CRW last night. Here are the results:
2 2009-D
1 1944-D
1 1944-P
22 pre-1960

The 1944-D is a stunner. I almost missed it. Not used to the silver being is this good of shape. The only down side is that it is probably from someone's collection.

just returned a Buffalo nickel find back to circulation. It took 1 minute to determine it was a buffalo. Did a soak in acetone overnight, then some nik-a-date. I determined it didn't have a mintmark, but the obverse is so rusty you can't see any details. At least I'll get a nickel out of it!

I was able to pick up $100 in CWR today. I need some help with a 1960-P that I found. I hope the photos are good enough for you to see. I found some doubling on the obverse and reverse.

The rest of today's finds include:

1 1929-P Buffalo (1929?)
2 1940-D
2 1940-P
1 1941-P
1 1942-P (Non Silver)
1 1942-S (Silver)
2 1946-D
1 1946-P
1 1947-P
1 1948-D
1 1949-D
2 1949-P
1 1952-D
1 1952-P
1 1952-S
2 1953-D
4 1954-D
1 1954-S
1 1956-P
1 1957-D
3 1958-D
3 1959-D
4 2009-D
2 Canadian
1 1984 Roosevelt dime

Here is the Buffalo.

The-Goal:-25,000-Rolls-Of-Nickels-All-Searchers-Welcome!

Here is the 1960-P in question.
I can see evidence of doubling in all the letters on the obverse and reverse along with Jefferson's nose, lips, and back of hair. The reverse shows doubling on the dome also.
The-Goal:-25,000-Rolls-Of-Nickels-All-Searchers-Welcome!

The-Goal:-25,000-Rolls-Of-Nickels-All-Searchers-Welcome!

There is a shadow on the forehead in this photo it is not doubled. There is doubling on the nose and lips.
The-Goal:-25,000-Rolls-Of-Nickels-All-Searchers-Welcome!

I do not know enough about doubling to make an educated guess at this point. I have tried to study the photo that is on this forum that shows the difference between a true doubling and Machine Doubling. I am still having trouble with it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I will also post this in the error section.
