Finished up 25 rolls this morning. Nothing memorable until last roll. Found a 1936 complete date buffalo. I believe that brings my buffalo streak to 8 searches in a row, whether searching 10 rolls or an entire box.

Thought I might have had a hole filler 1946 s, but I think my eyes were tricking me. A soak in vinegar and hydro didn't reveal anything, although not sure if I'd have put a soaked coin in my album, but I'll set that one back to the wild and I'm sure someone will think they found a priceless error finish on it.

Carlos- I've never searched dimes, but have been thinking about it. Do you find silver in the clear rolls? It seems that's what my bank gets and not sure if it's a waste of time edge searching dimes for silver, them little dates give me headaches.

I prefer not to search dimes with clear plastic rolls. I had more luck on paper. If I remember correctly I have searched about 8 boxes with clear wraps and found silver in about half. I am starting to like dimes the more I search them because they are easier to dump, and quick to search. I primarily silver mine and do not search for error and what not. That would just kill your eyes.

Nickels are fun but its a bit more troublesome to dump them. I usually get 2 boxes at a time and have to haul 2 big coffee creamer cans with me for $200 worth. Dimes I can fit $500 in one can.

Wow that's pretty lucky right there. I have yet to find even a partial date buffalo after 10 boxes. Just 1 no date.

Great finds bishftl!

I just started Nickel roll hunting. I have about $150 worth to go through still but have been saving them for a rainy day. I don't think I have any banks who will give me a whole box so I just have to stop in and pick up $30-40 at a time.

I'm tempted to just keep all my nickels incase they ever change the composition but I feel like that could get out of hand real quick.

I had a horrible box only ten coins were under 1960. Only two canadian beavers. I was also cheated out of a nickel by a plastic play money penny, ;). Maybe next week will be better.

Do you look for varieties? This usually helps when the older Jeffersons are slim pickin's.
