The silver is free. The nickel is not. Free as in speech, not pizza.

I disagrees. Its just savings. Your CRH budget is less 5 cents, and the 5 cents is with you. Not spent just held.

Who cares, if you're like me, it's likely money you didn't have before, as you could just use money you found on the ground to compensate for what you found!

If a roll has an extra coin in it, that compensates for one keeper. Quote: This could go on forever. I agree. I think we can agree, though, that cheap/free silver is good whether it costs 5 cents to keep or not.

Absolutely. Silver at the cost of your time.

If you think it's fun to spend hours of your life scanning through thousands upon thousands of nearly identical coins, like me, it's a good use of your time.

No one here should ever complain if they found silver in their change, no matter how that change was received.

Picked up 5 rolls of Nickels yesterday, primarily to fill my later date holes and found the following: 1947-P 1947-S 1948-P 1952-P Not too band for just 5 rolls. Oh, and BTW, I filled 29 of my later date holes. I know easy to do but still happy to get them...

Hole fillers are always nice regardless of rarity.

JBuck, you're absolutely correct. The four older Jeffersons were the bonus. It was really nice filling 29 holes with the five roles. Will have to do that again. I still have about 15 to go...
