Another great box, 3 silvers, a 44P and 2 45P's. Also 3 dated Buffalos(cant remember the dates off top of my head) and a 1938s.

Finished Bank Box clear rolls. Broke the silver skunk streak with a 42S roll ender. Only the second silver ender I have found. Still holding at 3 needed

Wish I could remember how many I needed after year one. Seems I remember being stuck on several numbers for a while once under 10 to go.

Found a 69-s that looks like it may be a proof. Also found a full dated 1936 Buffalo nickel. Oddly enough I also found 5 dimes! Lastly I got a 1951 franc. No hole fillers this time though.

Yes, I'd like to see it too. For a while I was keeping all the 68-70 S mints, but I'm going to dump them after I pick out the best of each date to put in my Dansco 7113 which should arrive in the mail on Monday.

Nickel - thanks. With time running out, I doubt I will be able to close the gap much on the 2015. I arbitrarily established a goal of 90% which in retrospect, was easily achievable. It can be done in 3-4 boxes is my guess. But the last 10% is challenging. I was fussy on grades of the 60-2015 coins, so 9 boxes is inflated. But 29 boxes for 95% indicates that that additional 5% comes hard. The last 5% will be much harder. Conceivably, another year of looking and I might be at 97-98% (another 30 boxes). And the last 2%; very, very difficult. But it's never a race for me. I enjoy the hunt. I have 3 albums going. One needs a 1939D, the other 6, and the 2015 project 9. Not too bad for spending a few hours a week searching for needed items.

jbuck - I washed off some smudged gunk and was surprised to find the shine. I'm still amazed at how many proofs find their way into circulation. Frosty cameos are my favorites to find!

sa - looks like it can be a proof. Better pics would confirm it. Suggestion: put your phone against a heavy, solid object. Here's a simple setup I use for quick pictures. Lighting from my magnified lamp. It's in a down position now, but I normally put the light vertical and less direct. The silver can with red lid has 5 rolls of quarters in it. Heavy and flat for placing my phone on. The small piece of wood is akin to where I place my iPhone. Note the can sets my focal length. I use the zoom to fill the display with the coin. Then I send the picture to my email for photo editing in Microsoft adjusting light exposure and contrast. Maybe this can work for you. Good luck!

It may be. The photos are not definitive, but the rims do look squarish in the middle picture. I think the lack of focus in the other two photos make the rims seem thinner and rounder than they are.

You could try taking the photos further out, then crop the excess.

sa - you stumbled onto something. See if you can diffuse your light using the Coop Method; white plastic bag from the grocery store. The excess light is washing out the images and making the pictures hazy. Also, as jbuck mentions, crop your pictures and fill the field with your specimen(s). Final bit: use a solid backdrop. This helps the autofocus on your camera focus on the coin and not the busy background.

It appears you might have gotten into someone's collection that got dumped and mixed. Your coins may be a mix of impaired proofs, liberated mint set specimens, and AU/BU business strikes. Cool box!!
