The fish are common enough on the east coast here. Not as plentiful as the beaver (Canadian), but I've picked up 15 or so this year. Cool finds!

Of the three non American or Canadian coins I've gotten, two are Singaporean and one is Bahamian (with a pineapple on it). In other news, my Jefferson Dansco (7113) finally arrived today after I ordered it from Amazon 10 days ago. I just finished going through all my pre-60 stuff and filling holes. So far, for the pre-60 dates, 32 of 61 holes filled. Just one problem- I set aside the 42-D I found a while ago since it's a better date, and now I can't find it anywhere.  So it should have 33 holes filled. |

That's too bad. It's easy to lose a coin here and there when CRH events stack up. The 1942D was one of the harder ones for me to find for some reason. After finding the first one, I have pulled a few out of circulation. Hang in there: another will find its way to you.

I have intentionally left the holes empty in the last 2 albums unless I find a truly UNC coin since albums 1 and 2 are down to the last coin and pretty much top shelf examples from circulation. I have learned it is a waste of time to keep popping coins in and out to go from a F12 to a F15 every week or 2. As such it is hard to find an upgrade in a box even when working on 4 sets. I don't think it's lost in that sense of the word, but I may have to take drastic measures to find it- I may even have to go as far as cleaning my desk!  Hopefully it won't meet the same unknown fate as the 43-P 3/2 I had when I was a kid. |

Jack - I use the same approach when it comes to the folders, but I'm only just starting the 4th string. Those following the thread might want to leverage that advice.
Numisma - I had to chuckle; I just swapped desks with my son so cleaning time hit this weekend! One of my 2016 objectives is to organize and catalog the collection. We'll see how that goes.
Jon - Enjoy the time with your son (and the family of course). Hopefully you both will get to go through a few boxes before the break is over. Best of luck on the hunt!!

I finally found it mixed in with some other minor finds under a bank statement, a 10 cent fractional and an $8 Continental (literally). I also went to work filling a bunch of modern holes from a few rolls I had already searched. It looks a little odd right now- I have holes like 1946-PDS, 48-PDS and 55 filled, but not ones like 2006, 07, 10 or 13 (all P).
