I'm bored, searching for some Indian Head cent bargains, and came across this set. One coin made me scratch my head, see if you too have this reaction?

Not sure what you are seeing but I am familiar with this seller and he has some awfully nice coins.

Actually, that's not a bad price if they are ALL high grades like the 1877 is.

Or, you can make an offer.
Rest in Peace

I must be missing something, as I don't see anything that jumps out at me as odd. Other than the digital photo problem he addresses in his listing and which explains some of the odd "dots" on some of the pictures.

That's really not a bad price for the set if all the coins were in the EF and better range for the pre-1880's and BU for the post 1880's.

Let us know what you are seeing as odd?

I don't see anything wrong as well. If I had the money I'd jump at it cause its a nice set based off the coins he did show especially the 1877, 1860's, and the 09-s indian

I'm with everyone else. None of the coins look odd. Please elaborate.

that 1860 looks nice, but I'm not seeing what makes this collection 12k?

I wasn't questioning the set or the price, it was the 1909-s, kind of a dud for that set, with all the other older key dates being in higher grades. Nothing more, nothing less, just felt that set didn't deserve that coin.

You'd figure that for a ridiculous $12k you'd have a better example of a 1909-S than a VF30.

No way I'd buy this without pictures of the 66-76 dated cents, either.
