Poll Question
Meaning that we are solely voting on which design of coin is better. May the best coins win!
US Nickel vs Canadian Nickel (5C Piece)
US Dime vs Canadian Dime (10C piece)
US Quarter (Homestead Quarter) vs Canadian Quarter (25C Piece)
US Half Dollar vs Canadian Half Dollar (50C Piece)
US Dollar (Sac) vs Canadian Dollar (Loonie) If I made a mistake, please point it out!

Canadian coins are much better that us! Maybe it's just because I love animals?

I am a touch bias, but we do go over board with our special 25 cents just too many things to celebrate, but the caribou design is everlasting.

Not a fan of people being on coins, no matter if it is Queen, president, or some other political creature but I love things such as the old Liberty stylzations of the 1800 - early 1900 US coins. The French have some wonderful Lady Liberty designs as well. The reverses are, hands down, superior on the Canadian coins. I am all about some wild life. Except for the half, the Canadian half is cool but not any better than the US half. IMO

I'd like to know why the US pics are so much bigger than the Canadian ones? Is that because the Canadian are better?

I started collecting the Canadian coins because they were SO pretty! US old type coins were nice but US started getting kind of ugly after the Benjamin was retired.I do like the Nat'l park quarters though that Canada Caribou is nice. I really like anything with flowers or nature (plants, animals) on it so maybe I like our dime better too. Hm.

I'm not fond of the current portrait of the queen, so that narrows the Canadian designs to one side for me, and not particularly fond of people on coins in general, although presentation can be done well. Nickel - I like both, but Canada gets the edge. Dime, my Bluenose wins. Quarter, draw. Half, Canada, except they aren't for circulation. Dollar, Canada. Composition - our plated steel sucks, so I have to choose clad by a long shot.

I like most of the Canadian coins as a rule over the U.S. ones. But, the U.S. Indian Head cent beats the heck out of all our small cents.

For the coins pictured, I prefer the Canadian ones. I do not like many of the faces on either, but I prefer every Canadian reverse excluding the one on the dime: those two are equal to me.

Canadian for me. If it was for older coinage I would have a much harder time deciding. I love the Buffalo nickels.
