Hello all, I joined the coin community forum earlier today, and wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I've been collecting coins for 5-6 years now, and exclusively collect US coins, Morgans through modern. Being in Atlanta, we do have a coin show each month which I occasionally attend. I've also started my young boys on Ikes and Presidential dollars, which they love. Anyway, to date, I've been a bit leery of buying online and was wondering if any member would be kind enough to recommend some reputable online sources. Currently looking for buffaloes, Morgans, silver proof sets and Ikes. Many thanks and hello to all. ~ |

 to CCF from Southwest Georgia. I'll let others discuss on-line buying (I never do). But if you're in Atlanta, you should be able to find most anything at the monthly shows. And don't forget the Perry show coming up in a couple of weeks. Maybe I'll see you there! |

Welcome Yorkie .... Buffalo nickels is what I'm working on now, tough to find certain dates in better grades .... I love that your introducing your kids to the world of coin collecting ..... For youngsters there are many places they can start including Jefferson nickels and Lincoln Memorial Cents .... With the Jeffersons one still has some hope of getting a lot of the dates, yea the War Nickels and some key dates would be tough but otherwise a doable set .... Best to you in 2016! |
