Picked up this Marine Corps Proof dollar today
My Dansco's for these have a lot of empty holes.

Volume One - filled 39 or 46 (1983 - 1994)
Volume Two - filled 27 of 46 (1995 - 2001)
Volume Three - filled 29 of 46 (2002 - 2013)

This coin filled a hole in volume three.

These albums, this series, have become one of the favorites
of my collection.

My Dansco favorites are
Type set 7070
Morgan dollar - Date set album and two album complete set.
And this three album set.

The three albums for these, take the series from 1983 to 2013.
I do have a blank dollar album to continue past 2013, but
have not started putting coins into it.

GR58-- thanks for the photos. Those are extremely beautiful.

I too have started collecting modern commemorative dollars (and half dollars).

While I find the modern designs a little too busy in most cases, it is such a great series (the one you pictured is a nice one because it is not so busy as most). It is huge and so you can have the fun of trying to fill it for years-- but no coin is so expensive that it makes it unobtainable. Plus they are by default usually in great proof or BU condition.

Your 95 coins is a very impressive amount!

That's a great one. Can't think of a more fitting image for the obverse.

I have the Unc in NGC MS70 but don't have a PF one yet. I like the coin design very much.
Maybe one day I will start this series....

Thank you for sharing.

Nice coin! Definitely a popular one within the modern commemorative series.

It looks like you're more than two-thirds of the way to having compete albums! Congrats!
