They sure look it, but you won't know for sure until you receive them. The pictures are too far away. Also taken at an angle which creates artificial lustre. It seems I have seen more cleaned/dipped Peace dollars that any other classic coin.

They look nice at first glance to me.

I'll post some closer pics when I get them. I figured at $20 a coin and the fact that the seller accepts returns, I'd give it a shot. I usually buy certified for silver dollars but that adds a lot of extra cost for common years..

They certainly look properly described. With return privilege it's hard to go wrong.

In the first two pics the piece on the top left does not look AU/BU but the other ones do. I've bought a few lots like that in the past and it's normal to get a cleaned XF or two in every roll (or lot of 20). If 90% of them are sliders to BU then you're okay assuming the price is right.

Hard to tell exact grade from photos, but the coins do show nice luster, so I would expect the coins to be AU/BU.

except for the one in the top left of the first picture, they look like problem free AU/MS coins to me

I don't like when sellers use the AU/BU designation. Uncirculated is a yes or no question. An AU58 much more visually appealing coin than a MS60. Saying AU/BU implies there is a continuum, like there is between F and VF,. Once there is any wear from circulation the coin is AU or below.

I got the coins the other day. 8 of the 10 still have a lot of luster. I'm sure my picture won't do them justice but this is 6 of the 8 good ones. The strike is really nice. I'm happy with them and do not think they've been cleaned. As others pointed out the 22-S is in the worst shape. The 23-S (in the same picture as the 22-S) doesn't have the same shine as the others but doesn't look too concerning. I posted these 2 since they are the lowest grade. Was the 22-S dipped? Not that I'd send any of these in but since this is in the grading forum.. what do you think they would grade? Thanks.
