I think you did great. The Eagles look great on the coins. My FE has a far worse Eagle on it and I payed 29 dollars for it.

I don't know how to grade FE's, so I'll say AU-50. Obverse weakness around 2 o clock?

Thank you for all of the kind comments. I figured this would be a high VF or low EF. If it indeed is an AU, then that is a pleasant surprise.

I see it as exhibiting at least XF-45 detail, probably lower-end AU. Nice coin but I'm not convinced about the originality of the surfaces from these photos, of course you can probably get a better idea of the originality in hand.
