I think this is a good time to buy silver.After I get the bi-centennial,I will have a good silver Eisenhower collection.Next project is a one-a-year Peace dollar set.Thanks for posting. |

I bought this "Novelty Coin" on ebay : 1964 Peace dollar ( Not Silver & lighter weight than genuine) Cost was $9.95 plus a couple dollars shipping. I thought the story of the 300,000 plus that were actually produced at Denver Mint in 1965,dated 1964 & subsequently destroyed entirely was a cool story & interesting"Fantasy Coin".  |

My lastest purchase was a $1 dollar silver Ike 1971 s Proof for $ 14.79 and shipping $3.54 at ebay, my first and only Proof ! All the coins from my collection are from hunting and I'm a little reluctante and buy it but really wanted a special coin like that    |

Started out seeing some nice Peace dollars  I was hoping to see some more. Maybe members aren't buying them at this time. I might have to dust off mine and see if I need any. |

Aceskings ... I am not sure if that is a really good picture Or a really nice 1921 Peace dollar ... I am leaning towards both I can see this thread making me want to put together a complete set. |

Here's a lot of 5 I bought lady month at an lcs for $20 per. Somehow I missed one being an awesome VAM 1f "chinbar" don't know how I missed it but hey, I'm the "blind vammer" so it was no surprise honestly  I'm hoping it'll make 64...    And here's the lot if 5...   |
