I've been so wrapped up in trying to fill the rather expensive holes in my virtual U.S. Proof Type Set album that I completely forgot about getting a nice proof Lincoln Wheat cent. A little trip to ebay, and I managed to pick up this little beauty for $59 (which just came in the mail this afternoon): Not particularly rare or valuable, but is sure is pretty! Plus, it's nice to actually be able to pick up a high grade classic proof coin for a change...

The Lincolns are generally my favorite in the proof sets. So I had to get off the couch and look at my oldest set; it's a '54 not '53. I couldn't remember.
Your is a Nice one

Great color. That coin cannot have been handled much.
