their is a Mobile App called Quizup and you can create your on topic on what you want. So I created a CRH topic and I was wondering if y'all can help me add some questions. it's questions on Rolls and History on coins you can find. If you could play it that would help you know what questions I already have.

If I have a Coinstar cash voucher for $6.11, how much change did I put into the machine? (Assuming CS takes the 11% fee)
No seriously, I didn't make that up, I saw a woman dumping change in and it wasn't even that much, so her losses were probably under a dollar.

I haven't been on quizup in a while but gave it a couple tries. Perhaps you could compare mintages, e.g: which mintage is lowest/highest (with choices being different years and mintmarks of a particular denomination). You could also make questions about the size, weight, metal composition, or thickness of coins, but this may be straying a little from CRHing.

1.40 face of 90% and 3.50 face of 40% is the closest amount to a troy ounce.

ShoePlier: I like the idea of the Mintage Low/Highest, but I think the size, weight, etc. is just a little to far. Also how do you think I did on the questions that you saw when you played it?
accord: I don't understand exactly what you meant. Can you try to exclaim it to me a little bit more?

Be careful in the "What was the last year half dollars contained silver?" question. 90% silver proofs are still made each year. The 1970-D (Mint set issue only) and 1970-S (proof set issue only) were the last 40% year. Like the present day 90% silver proofs, they were only available in special sets. More half questions: 1. What three years were JFKs made without mint marks? Answer: 65, 66, 67 2. What is the only year you might encounter the mint mark on the REV side of a JFK half? Answer: 1964 4. What are the two most commonly known JFKs with a "No FG" error (missing the designer initials on the REV)? Answer: 1982-P and 1972-D 5. What are the most commonly known years JFK halves had RPMs? Answer: 1964-D, 1971-D, 1973-D, 1984-D, 1989-D 6. What are the four most commonly known years for JFK DDO halves? Answer: 1971-D, 1972-P, 1973-D, 1974-D, 1977-D 7. Which two JFK half dates are most commonly known to have major rotated die examples? Answer: 1971-D, and 1988-p

If you are looking for the closest approximation of a troy ounce of silver...
7 40% halves ($3.50 face) equals 1.03 troy ounces of silver.
14 dimes, or $1.40 face value in 90% coins contain 1.01 troy ounces of silver.
Those are the closest face value equivalents to one troy ounce of silver.

Guys Is this correct?
What was the last year half dollars contained silver? (1970)
The 1970's were in mint sets only, but what about 1976 sets that were made with 40%ers?
I think the questions should be? What year was the last year the US made half dollars containing 90% silver for circulation? (1964)
What are the years the US made half dollars that contained 40% silver for circulation? (1965,1966,1967,1968,1969)
Then you could ask questions about the proof sets.

Oops! Alifome, thanks for the correction on the 1976 - it was the last 40% - special mint set only again I believe. I forgot all about it when posting.
Then the 1977 JFK halves accidentally made on silver would also have been 40% correct?

To everybody who said something about the Last year of Silver Half Dollars, I made a mistake. the only questions I have related to Halfs are, What percentage of Silver does Half Dollars dated from 1965 to 1970 have? What percentage of Silver does 1964 Kennedy half dollars have? When were the 40% Silver Half Dollars Minted? I am sorry for the coinfusion, but I will try my best to get everything that everybody has ask. Thank you!
