Have any of you seen a genuine Trade dollar with this many chop marks?

What purpose would a chop mark serve, if it could not be read?

I would think that the ones that can be read are the latest ones.

I wouldn't call it abused. It was used exactly as intended. I would think of it as a nice example of history you can hold in your hands.

It did make me chuckle, though.

Wow, that looks almost like one I have in my collection. I bought it 4-5 yrs ago from E-Bay at 1/5th the price... I think it's a great coin, but wouldn't pay $250 for it

Because there is so many chopmarks, I have my doubts about this coin. Impossible to identify any faults to prove fake or not.

That is just crazy

The price is to high for me.

I wonder what PCGS or NGC would do with it.

Would definitely be a good way to hide a counterfeit, wouldn't risk it.
