You are correct, Northcoin!
It is an interesting repair to loop 2. A lot of 1859's have neat loop 2 repairs. Often loop 2 repairs are good markers to ID the reverses.
There is something else very interesting on this reverse. Anyone want to point it out?

Yes, thanks northcoin, it is 471, 47+J6. J6 is one of about 130 dies that have Loop 2 repaired. Of course, the big reason why No. 27 is a keeper is the triple-punched O in ONE, as northcoin already pointed out.
Okie's post gives me an idea. Can anyone send in photos of their favorite Loop 2 repair? There are some that are pretty neat!

Correct on 37, northcoin. What is the obvious feature that makes this obverse 37?
As to the die state, are there any other opinions on that? I apologize for the photos not being as sharp as Jim's. That may make it a little harder to determine die state on this one.

As there are no die clogs evident, and based on the die breaks @ V of Victoria, and A of Gratia - I would say state 1, possibly 2.

The easy way to ID Obv. 37 is with the I in Regina

I call it the "High I" obverse. It's one of the most recognizable in the entire series. In fact I'm known to sing that endearing Mexican song, "La Paloma", to myself when I see it: "Hi I-I-I, Hi I-I-I-I". Remember, the individual reaction to the 59 varieties varies--some just get a headache, while others go mad, like Alice's hatter.
