There are more similar listings, I just listed the first four I ran across.

And they all don't except returns . hmm, there's something fishy going on around here . And when I find out what it is they'll all be in deep poop.

What's the problem? Do you want ebay telling you how much you are allowed to ask for things?

I may be a sucker for gold.
But, the 1941-s penny looks like a steal at $250.
I'll keep a close[d] eye on it.

No, I don't "want" anything by posting about them.
I just wondered if there was some kind of scheme going on that I had no idea about. I couldn't figure it out just by looking at these listings.

As the famous showman P.T. Barnum was quoted (but never actually said), "There is a sucker born every minute."
That's the only scam going on here.
Maybe they are future salesmen for the HSN?

Not the first time I have seen listings like this. It's most likely they're trying to see if someone is willing to buy it. Basically trying to find a sucker.

Come on bobby , That's not the point. do you really condone this kind of behavior on e-bay ? what they are doing is grossly deceiving to anyone who knows nothing about coins .

What do you think bobby can do about them? What specific ebay policy do they violate?

It may be in poor spirit but do they meet all listing guidelines? I am not sure since I am not an E-Bay seller. There are plenty of legal ways to sell overpriced items; both in and out of cyberspace.
