Looks like a clipped planchet to me, but I have been wrong many times. Any opinions ? thanks for the help.

True that also and I believe I can see the blakesly effect on both sides...seems to me the smaller clips show the blakesly effect better than the larger ones-just my observation

I added this coin to my image files as it show the metal flow that leaves the weakness on the devices towards the clip. thanks for posting your coin 11997755.
