I stopped out at the local monthly coin show to see if anything new was being offered, and to chat with some dealers. The one guy had pulled aside a set of graded Ike,s, but they were nothing special. I may still grab them up, but I'm kind of on the fence still. Other than the Ike's there really wasn't anything coinwise that was jumping out at me. I then saw a new dealer so I walked over to see what he had. It turns out he is going out of business and was trying to clear out his stock, cheap. Again the coins were nothing special, but the supplies that's another story. I picked up all of this. The Fremont coin club is really interesting. It has 5 pages with holes for 9 dollar sized coins per page. I've done a little googling, but haven't found anything out about it yet. I took his number because he said he had more "books" at the store. I won't tell you what I paid for everything because you all would hate me. Edited by davec13 06/19/2016 6:28 pm

Wow -- now you've got a real job ahead of you --- finding the tokens for the Fremont Coin Club album. Enjoy your new supplies. Those costs can really add up so it's nice that you got a bargain.

I may actually try to fill that album. That is 7070 #3 I should probably stop sitting on them and let someone else enjoy the headache of filling that monster. Quote: Enjoy your new supplies. Those Dansco U.S. Type Sets (7070) sell very well on ebay since they have been out of production for the last few years. Congrats on the deal.

I would really enjoy one for the price you paid I saw an album for Seated halves for $15 and passed on it. Now I know why.

It is always nice to pickup some new Dansco's, and at those prices you might want to check out what else he has. Congrats on finding a good deal like that

Nice grab on the albums, especially the 7070. That Fremont album would hold a full Eisenhower set and then some. Just saying.

This is what I've been saying for a long time now. Go to coin shows and ask, ask, ask. Ask the dealers what they do with old used coin Albums. Many will say just throw them away. Ask if you could have them.

Quote: You might as well grab those Ike's and make JB happy too... I have really been thinking about it. The only thing is my older dog has been sick lately and I've spent about $2500 on vet visits since last Sunday Plus she has to go back tomorrow morning for my xrays and blood work. She is 14 year old and she is definitely part of the family so I don't care about the money. It's just taking a bite out of my "fun" money at the moment.

Been there before myself.... I hope that 14 year old family member comes out healthy and gives you a few more good years.
