I'm hoping someone can help me identify this unknown (to me) token from 1942. My dad found it in an old Singer sewing table drawer. We're very curious about it. Thanks!

It's WWII era legitimate Netherlands coin. Not a token at all. Zinc 1 cent.
Value about 25 cents more or less to a collector.

@Albert: Actually, in this condition, it's not worth much to a collector. I have a bulk of those World War II occupation coins, bought by the kilo for €8 including taxes (that's just under $10 including taxes).

Anyway, a very nice find and I wonder how on earth that ended up in an old Singer in the USA!

@UltraRant, WWII era coins ended up in North America in huge numbers, brought back by the millions of soldiers as war souvenirs. With all those coins floating around, a few are bound to fall into the cracks of sewing machines.
