Is It Fake/Counterfeit Or A Mistake

Go cougs New Member United States 1 Posts	Posted 07/04/2016 4:36 pm I received this note in a birthday card. The note looks and feels real. The fiberous paper, raised ink, and sharp even lines look just like every other 5 dollar bill, except it bled from both sides on the card. It seems like the k didn't set properly. Does anyone know if this is a mistake or do you think it's counterfeit piece? Bill info: Series 2013 F Note# ml47551452c Report this Post to the Staff

My best guess is the paper in the envelope may have reacted with the note...especially if one or the other may have been damp. Surely, Grandma Shirley wouldn't be passing off counterfeits to her grandkids would she? Report this Post to the Staff
