I (rather predictably) voted for the Wheat cent, although I also really like the Flying Eagle. The 2009 Presidency DCam Contrast (reverse) is pretty cool too.

I always get a kick out of finding a Wheat penny in my change, but when I find an indian head — Katie bar the door!

I love the Wheaties but I already have a few thousand of those. But an Indian head those I only have a handful of and they are amazing (so that gets my vote for this pole)

Best looking? Best investment? Best quality? Best collectability? Personal favorite?
What did you mean by "best" when you created the poll?

I voted the Wheat cent, but I am starting to like the Shield Cent a little more each day.

nss-52 is asking the right questions....best with respect to what? The Memorial cent series is the most interesting of all of them. It has everything in terms of varieties and errors and they're affordable (if not found at cost).

Took some deliberation, but the flying eagle wins out in my book. Back in 2009, they considered bringing the eagle back for the 2010 redesign, but the shield won out.
I do like the 2009s, though. Formative Years certainly takes the cake for most varieties with nearly 90 different documented DDRs! And the Presidency is just so hard to find!

Shield Cents? I wouldn't even put them on a poll.

For me the Eagle wins hands down, however if they had the brains the shield cent could have been much better on copper, and high relief. (at least in a collector set)

(at least in a collector set) I have said before, in support of no longer minting the cent for circulation, that they should still make the cent for mint sets, proof sets, and maybe rolls, but in in 95% copper. Higher relief is another good idea.

I think that it would have been cool if they brought the shield on the Two Cent Piece to use on the shield cents... I voted in terms of my favorite design, which would be the IHC.
