To the coin community members. I recently got in touch with a collector from the US whom told me about this coin forum. I have read the rules for using this site, but otherwise I do not know anything about this forum. It do look like a serious site.
I often prefer only to get in touch with other advanced collectors and dealers. I do carry some ground basic knowledge on US and Canadian coins, but of course I have most knowledge about Scandinavian coins.
I do collect coins, but I mainly deal with them instead.
Even though I am not a beginner, I consider myself as being here in this forum to learn. I could help other members with Scandinavian coins, if asked.
Regards, Palle Copenhagen Denmark

@prncoins, welcome to CCF. Over in the world coins section, you will find that we get questions about Scandanvian coins somewhat frequently. We have some pretty knowledgeable folks there, but it will be nice have your input and expertise as well.

Thank you for that. It is my very opinion that everybody are able to learn a lot about numismatics. I am not sure how much I am going to use this forum, time will tell. I do like to help others with questions about coins, most likely to be Scandinavian coins. In that way I feel it will be more okay for me to ask stupid questions about US coins etc.

Velkomst Prncoins! My great-grandfather was a wonderful man, whom I admired and respected as a youngster. He was born in the U.S. in 1888, one year after his parents emigrated from Denmark. He passed on many tales about the old country from his parents, and I most definitely inherited the Danish love of coffee from him. ;-) Just yesterday I did some initial reading about Danish coins thinking I might want to collect some given my heritage. So your expertise will be most welcome here! ~ Markus (actually 'Mark' but I like the Danish version ;o)

Oh, that was a nice welcome. Thank you. And to Mark(us) - I do not know if there should be competent Danes in this forum, there might be, but otherwise I am happy to help when I have time.
