Does anyone know if State Quarters in burlap type bags, purchased from the mint are worth anymore than .25? I have a bunch and was just going to open them and turn them in to the bank, but thought I should check first. Thank you!

in most cases it is very hard getting much over face for
State Quarter bags. Most dealers I know would not pay over
face.

You could check ebay to see what your bags are selling for.

to CCF fellow Michigander. You might get a little more if you sell them on ebay.

You might get a premium for some of the early bags, the 1999's. At one time the Delaware P mint bag was actually selling for $1000 a bag.

You could also go through the coins and look for errors & varieties.

Rest in Peace

If you're selling them don't open the bags.
