I realize this is most likely technically ungradeable, but that it's still identifiable is pretty amazing, and I'd love to see how they'd shoehorn it into a slab.

Here's my 1864 L Indian. I had it for years.
Just missing a few parts, but still in great condition.
What grade would you give?

I showed this to Rick Snow today, who quipped that it ought to be graded as "uncirculable".

It's a small miracle that the 64 is there at all. Otherwise it would just be a flat, roundish piece of metal.

just trying to imagine what the heck happened to caused this. maybe someone had a bad day and took a sledgehammer to it. pretty impressive you can still make out the date. I'm going with D0 as the grade. DESTROYED.
