This is my first post after being a lurker on these forums, such great info which I appreciate. Coin Roll hunting yielded a 1992 or maybe 1993 Lincoln Penny that is suffering from a jacked up die. Any thoughts? My meager attempt at a description is a super soft strike on the obverse made the date unreadable. Pretty serious crack on reverse at the northwest corner.
Whats the prognosis?

The reverse has a die crack and a die chip.

On the obverse, the missing numeral in the date is most likely due to a grease-filled die.

The portrait looks like it took a hit across the face to the ear --- but it might be something else.

It looks like a 1992 with some of the digits and letters filled with grease. I'd keep it just for the crack.

Its not a 1992/ It is a 1993 and newer. It is a Close AM. The other devices show it is not a 1992.

I'm leaning more towards 1998:

It looks like the top loop is thicker on your image.
