This is one of a couple coins I am looking to buy today.

There is a good chance it had a old cleaning.

Looking for opinions, I am still working on a price.

Not so good pictures ... taken with IPad

I like it. What are you seeing that makes you think it's been cleaned? I put it at about 25-30. The clasp is sharp like an EF, the reverse is around 20 IMO. The obverse is 30.

I see the letters were not centered on the rim and looks like rim bumps. I have a few like this and it doesn't bother me personally.

If the price was right, I would buy it.

I think VF-30 with original surfaces. The reverse rim nicks are pretty minor and not that concerning.

If the rim nicks do do not bother you it is a nice 25 example. I like it much more than the harshly cleaned reeded edge you posted.....just mho....

I am so glad I picked this coin up ....

But all day images of the War of 1812 have been in my head.

Maybe I brought more than the coin home ...

VF-30. I'd probably go for it too if the price was reasonable.
