This coin is considered something of a a one-year type since the obverse stars have hollow centers. This feature did not appear for any other years. See how your opinions stack up against NGC! hunter20ga Pillar of the Community United States 1173 Posts	Posted 03/14/2008 5:51 pm From what I can see from these photos, this is a very, very nice coin that should go MS-64. There are portions of the rims, however, that are in shadows, and the lighting and focus are not "perfect" so there could be flaws that are minimized or hidden. I know just how small these little guys are, so getting a good photo is not so easy sometimes, especially when the coin is slabbed. Report this Post to the Staff
KurtS Pillar of the Community United States 5318 Posts	Posted 03/14/2008 8:48 pm Hunter--that makes sense. These remind me of the silver 5c "fish scales" of Canada, and those features are often rough due to the size. I'll guess 63-64 too. Report this Post to the Staff

My photos can't really do justice to this coin, and you need top-quality photos to distinguish between "choice" and "gem".
