It's hard to put a value on these coins when they're damaged. The grade to me is a VF details. VF with no damage probably sells for 100 CAD (maybe a bit more). It's your call on what you're willing to pay for it with the hole

fourmack Charlton puts it at $165.00 VF and $500.00 EF Too bad for the hole. I would say solid VF maybe EF40 in hand.

If I put my finger over the hole it's an easy VF30.
When I see the hole it's value is about AG03,too bad.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

Holed coins are generally priced at about 10% of the book price.

A little more for scarcer coins and I guess a little less for common coins.

I have an 1893 round top 3 with a hole ..aaarggg.

Worth only a bit with a hole.

VF30 but Holed. This coin is fairly scarce with 50,000 minted.

I'm guessing the gene pool for those persons with a propensity toward drilling holes in coinage has thinned itself considerably. I don't see anything new with holes in it!
