These were hanging out in my co-worker's coin tray this morning. I asked to buy them, and she eagerly obliged! Previous best was 6 in a single box, little more than a year ago. This probably also ties my best "old coins from circulation" hauls.   Edited by hcmusicguy 11/28/2016 10:37 pm

Dates/MM are: 1944 1942 1945 1942D 1942D 1956D 1962 The 62 is a hole filler!  None of the rest though - I don't collect Mercs and they are pretty nasty looking. Most of these will probably get traded for bigger and better things soon.

Fantastic find! Definitely deserves some fruit!   I never would have thought when a kid that silver would still be found in the wild in 2016. Glad I was wrong. Make sure you check those 1942s for the 1942/41. You never know!
