I am sure that if you ever did want to sell them, there would be quite a few interested buyers. May I ask how long it took you to carve one?

to CCF These are really good. I wish someone would have taught me how to do this in my younger years, but there is that one little problem of me not having any artistic talent at all.

Thanks! It takes me around an hour to make each one. In 2017 I want to go in a different direction and spend at least 12 hours on each coin. But skull coins are going to always be a favorite of mine! My favorite thing about skull coins is comparing how different carvers go about carving them. There are some really good deals on ebay for Hobo nickels. My favorite time to shop for hobo nickels is after Christmas. Everything slows down and you can get some good deals on Hob Nickels for auction. I also collect Hobo Nickels!

That is great work. The detail of your carvings are extraordinary. And, yes, I would be a buyer if you ever decide to sell some of them.

Great work! What type of carving tools are you using? AirGravers? Also, do you have a coin vise? Always wanted to get into carving nickels, maybe someday.
